Today, on Earth Day 🌎, it’s our pleasure to introduce to you...

🚀 STARTUP:

Earth Cubs.

🌈 MISSION:

To become the environmental learning platform for 3-7 year olds, inspiring kids to learn and love the world.

💡 WHAT:

An edutainment app that sparks kids' interest in the natural world through play and learning across global environments. From the majestic coral reefs of the Great Barrier Reef to the bustling streets of NYC, each environment is introduced by a fun, loveable character to help engage kids with videos, puzzles, and downloadable, teacher-approved resources.

🧐 MILESTONES:

170k+ downloads to date and growing at 15,000/month. If you've got kids, get them to try it (and then enjoy a little guilt-free screen time).

→ Used by over 3,500 schools (mostly in the UK). Looking to expand globally. Holler if you can help.

→ Protected over 100 acres of rainforest through partnership with the Rainforest Trust.

💪 WHY IT MATTERS:

Everyone's future—especially our kids’—will be affected by the climate crisis. Earth Cubs is all about helping kids fall in love with the natural systems that support life because, as much as fear and anxiety drive our behaviour, so do awe and wonder. And our kids will need bucketloads of resilience in order to adapt to a changing world and withstand the rising tide of eco-anxiety.
