G’day 👋

‘1 ESSENTIAL INSIGHT‘
Why NDAs can kill a deal and what to do instead.
NDAs might seem like a great way to protect your idea, but NDA’ing up too early can raise a red flag, suggest a lack of trust and kill the convo before it's even started. VCs see thousands of pitches a year, often for similar ideas, so signing NDAs is often simply not possible.
So what can you do?
Staged access is key. Start by sharing core info, with enough access upfront to allow investors to evaluate your startup. If things progress, and trust builds, increased the level of access.
With Raaise, you can set tiered access to the info in your smart data room (and on your pitch page), keeping you in control of who sees what, when—avoiding NDAs, fostering trust and speeding up the investment process.
‘RAISING CAPITAL?‘
We’ve got you.
The tools you need to take control—open a round, match and connect with investors, generate key legals, negotiate terms and close the deal—in one place.

Until next week,
Cheers,
Team Raaise
